CAREER EXPLORATION:
Rehabilitation Technician - Provides direct care to the juveniles in IDJC facilities by providing individual and group
rehabilitative therapeutic services, mentoring, and dayto-day supervision.
Instructor Specialist (Teacher) - Plans, develops, implements and evaluates educational programs in our on-site
schools while providing consultation to treatment staff.
Our teachers are certified by SDE.
Cook Senior- Prepares and serves delicious and nutritional
homestyle meals to the juveniles in our care.
Clinician - Provides direct clinical services, assessments
and multifaceted clinical therapy to the juveniles in our
care. Treatment ranges from individual, family, and group
therapy. Each of these may target substance use, trauma,
emotional regulation, and psychoeducation to rehabilitate
juveniles and engage families for improved outcomes in
the community.
Social Worker - Provides ongoing case management
service and reintegration planning for juvenile offenders.
Services continue throughout the juvenile’s commitment
until they are released back into our communities.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Provides nursing and
medical attention to all juveniles in our care. The care provided in IDJC facilities ranges from treating urgent and
non-emergent medical needs to dispensing medication,
participating in on-site medical and psych clinics, and
coordinating medical care in the community.
