Design Your Degree in COAS
What can you do with a COAS degree?
College of Arts and Sciences students
are trailblazers. We have the most diverse
range of programs on campus, producing
multi-passionate creatives, scientists,
researchers, entrepreneurs and lifelong
learners. You can explore your passion with
over with over 50 majors. Enhance your
degree with 73 minors and 49 certiocates,
or create your unique path with our triplediscipline degree by combining minors and
certiocates across the university.
To help our students gain the hands-on experience employers
are looking for, the College of Arts and Sciences ofers many
research opportunities 3 from oeld and lab work to Vertically
Integrated Projects. We also support students in onding
internships that allow them to apply and expand their skills.

With the transferable skills and experiences gained through
our programs, students have a variety of career possibilities
ahead of them. Our graduates are prepared to thrive in areas
such as: community organizing, counseling, diplomacy, music
performance, government, law, management, cybersecurity,
marketing, mass communications, medicine, non-proot
management, public health, research, data science, social
services, teaching, and education and technology 3 and that9s
just to name a few. In addition to the students who go straight
into their careers, a recent survey showed that over 30% of our
graduates go on to a graduate program (MA or PhD).
